Mahatma Gandhi :
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born in the year 2nd October 1869. Gandhi was considered “Father of the Nation” for his great deeds. He is the man behind India’s Independence and inspired movements for freedom as well as civil rights. Gandhi studied in South Africa and racial discrimination towards few Indians made him fight for their human rights.
After watching India ruled by English Men he joined the freedom fight. He Participated in Dandi March to relieve tax on salt and also took an active part in several non-violence movements against the Britishers.

Jawaharlal Nehru :
Jawaharlal Nehru the only son of Motilal Nehru and Swarup Rani is a central figure in Indian Politics. He was born in the year 1889 and is known as both Politician and Freedom Fighter. His passion for India’s Freedom was from the influence of Mahatma Gandhi. He was popularly known as Panditji or Pandit Nehru. Post Independence he became the president of the Indian National Congress and became the First Prime Minister of India. Nehru adored Children and thus birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day all over the country.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel :
Brave Deeds at a young age earned Patel the title “Iron Man of India”. Sardar Vallabhai Patel was born in the year 1875 and is known for his contributions to the country. His contribution to the field of Bardoli Satyagrah got him the name Sardar. Despite being a famous lawyer, he withdrew his profession and contributed against the freedom of the country. After Independence, he became the Deputy Prime Minister of India and played a vital role in the Integration of India and dedicated himself to the merging of princely states within the Indian Union.

Tantia Tope :
Tantia Tope was one of the great classic rebellions in 1857 and Indian Freedom Fighters. He was born in the year 1814 and led a group of soldiers to fight against the dominance of the British. Tope is a firm follower of Nana Sahib and continued his duty as General despite extreme circumstances. He made General Windham leave Kanpur and was the one behind reinstating Rani Lakshmi to Gwalior.

Nana Sahib :
Nana Sahib led a group of ardent rebellions and made a significant contribution in the year 1857. He threatened the British Camp by killing the survivors of the force and overwhelmed the British forces in Kanpur. Nana Sahib was a skilled administrator and prepared, led thousands of Indian Soldiers.

Lal Bahadur Shastri :
Shastri was born in the year 1904 in Uttar Pradesh. He got the title “Shastri” after the completion of his study at Kashi Vidyapeeth. He took active part n Civil Disobedience, Quit India Movement and Salt Satyagraha Movement led by Mahatma Gandhi. Lal Bahadur Shastri was arrested and sent to jail for many years. He graced the Position of Home minister initially after independence and then became the Prime Minister of India in 1964.

Subhash Chandra Bose :
Bose renowned as “Netaji” was born in the year 1897 in Orissa. He was shaken by the incident of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre and retuned India from England in the year 1921. Bose was a part of the Civil Disobedience movement and even joined the Indian National Congress. He wasn’t in consent with the Non-Violence Movement led by Gandhi and went to Germany for help and then formed INA and Azad Hind Movement.

Sukhdev :
Sukhdev an integral member of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association was born in the year 1907. He was a valiant revolutionary and worked closely with his associates Shivram Rajguru and Bhagat Singh. Sukhdev was said to be involved in killing the British Officer John Saunders. He got arrested and martyred at a very young age 24 along with his associates Bhagat Singh and Shivaram Rajaguru.

Kunwar Singh :
Kunwar Singh who was born in the year 1777 led a group of soldiers in Bihar against the British. He was known as Veer Kunwar Singh for his intimidating bravery. Singh targeted British Troops using guerrilla warfare tactics and defeated the British Forces heavily. He will always be remembered for his passion, young audacity, and respectable bravery.

Chittaranjan Das :
Das the founder of the Swaraj Party and a Lawyer by Profession was born in the year 1870. He was popular as Deshbandhu and took an active part in the Indian National Movement. Being a Law Practitioner he successfully defended Aurobindo Ghosh who was charged in a crime by the British. Chittaranjan used to Mentor Subash Chandra Bose.

K. M. Munshi :
K.M. Munshi emerged as a Famous Freedom Fighter and took part in Quit India, Salt Satyagraha Movements along with Mahatma Gandhi. He was born in the year 1887 and later established the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Munshi was a strong follower of Sardar Patel, Gandhi and Sayajirao Gaekwad. He joined the Indian National Congress and Swaraj Party. He got arrested several times for his freedom protests against the British.

Rani Lakshmi Bai :

Lakshmi bai inspired thousands of women in the freedom battle with her embodied bravery and fearless attitude. She defended her palace in the year 1858 which was invaded by the British Force led by Sir Hugh Rose.

People respected and loved him as one of the greatest leaders and was called as Lokmanya Tilak.

Lajpat Rai was a Popular leader and led the Punjab Protest against the Jalliawala Bagh incident and Non-Cooperation Movement. In Simon Commission Protest he died of a brutal Lathi Charge by the Britishers.

Bipin Chandra Pal :
Bipin Chandra Pal an unforgettable revolutionary was born in the year 1858. He formed an association with Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai, and Lal-Pal-Bal trio. All of them together executed many revolutionary activities for the country.

Mangal Pandey was one of the early freedom fighters who was born in the year 1827. He was the first one to inspire Indian Soldiers, instigate the great rebellion in the year 1857. He served as a Soldier for the British East India Company. Pandey fired at the English Officials and that as the beginning of the Indian Rebellion in the year 1857.

Vinayak Damodar Savarkar :

Damodar Savarkar was the founder behind the Free India Society and Abhinav Bharat Society. He wrote up a piece named ‘The Indian War of Independence’. Bhagat Singh :
Bhagat Singh the Controversial Freedom Fighters of India. He was a famous revolutionary and became the proud martyr for the country. He was born in a Sikh Family of Freedom Fighters in Punjab in the year 1907. Bhagat Singh was a born patriot and joined the Non-Cooperation Movement in 1921. To instill Patriotism in the youth of Punjab he began the “Naujawan Bharat Sabha”. He became extreme in his fight for Freedom with the Chauri-Chaura Massacre incident.

British government sentenced him to death for involving in the notorious Kakori train robbery.

That’s the reason British Executed him.
