After the Indian government banned all the 59 Chinese apps, India’s first social media app was launched by Vice President, Venkaiah Naidu. Elyments is a social networking service. This app developed by "Sumeru Software Solutions", It was launched on 5 July 2020 (sunday), by Vice President of India, this app available for  Android mobile and iOS. The app is similar functionality to social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp.

The Vice President of India, launched the Elyments app which is a best new social media platform termed as a "super app". Elyments app is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. According to the app makers they have given a lot of importance to privacy & all the servers are hosted within the country.
